 DRIVING LICENSE DISCLAIMER

Students between the ages of 16 and 18 should understand the Georgia Driving School Laws.
If a student withdraws and does not re-enter another school or if a student is absent for 10 days,
a form is sent to the Department of Driver's Services resulting in the loss of the driver's license.
Please stay in school.

 PARKING ON CAMPUS

Regulations for driving a vehicle on the campus area include:

1.    Speed limit is 15 miles per hour.

2.    Pedestrians have the right of way.

3.    Vehicles brought on campus are subject to search by school administration in accordance with Georgia law.  Vehicles are constantly monitored for weapons for your protection.  Drugs and/or alcohol are strictly prohibited on campus and will result in immediate police involvement and suspension pending tribunal.

4.    Students may park wherever there is a lined parking space in OCHS's student parking lot.

5.    Once arriving at school, students should get out of the vehicle and enter the building.  No one is to remain in the parking lots upon arrival to or dismissal from school.  This is for everyone's protection.  The staff person that supervises the parking area may require an ID for identification.  All OCHS student vehicles are to use a parking permit that is provided by the school.  A $5.00 fee will be charged for each additional permit.

6.    Parking decal should be hung from the rear-view mirror with the number clearly identifiable from outside the vehicle.

7.    Only properly registered student cars are allowed in the back parking lots.

Reckless driving, repeated parking infractions or loud sound systems that disturb classes may result in loss of driving privilege.

must register their vehicle
